The BioIndustry Association Established in 1989, the BioIndustry Association (BIA) exists to encourage and promote a financially sound and thriving bioscience sector within the UK economy and concentrates it efforts on emerging enterprise and the related interests of companies with whom such enterprise trades. Entry forms for this new award of £2,000 will be mailed to ABSW members in December, and will be available to download here. Entries will be accepted from writers and broadcasters, and nominations from editors, ABSW members or members of the judging panel. Work broadcast or published (excluding books) between 1st January & 31st December 2006 will be eligible for this new award which seeks to recognise excellence in this area. The winner will be announced at the awards dinner in July 2007.
